Made for
dogs like
Wilco.
It started with a leash-spicy Plott hound named Wilco. Off-leash at the park or the beach, she's a dream. On a leash in Lakeview? That Rashod robot delivery wagon is her mortal enemy, and she will not be reasoned with.
As a veteran and a lifelong dog owner — I've had a few pups over the years — I know the stress of walking a reactive rescue. When the world gets loud, you need a nuclear option. A treat high-value enough to cut through the chaos and buy you two seconds of focus. Two seconds is everything.
Commercial treats weren't cutting it. So I went back to basics: Torresmo. Single-ingredient beef tallow cracklings, slow-rendered in small batches right here in Chicago. No fillers, no preservatives. Just the high-protein, high-scent crunch that works when nothing else does.
Wilco is still a work in progress on the leash. But these have changed the game for us. We hope they do the same for you and your pack.
(She's not available for meet-and-greets. The robots know what they did.)
The names mean something. Torresmo is Brazilian Portuguese for rendered cracklings — my mom was born in Brazil, and I grew up hearing her drop Portuguese and German words whenever she got fired up. Grieben is the German word that cracklings actually comes from. Both names are hers, really. She just doesn't know it yet.
Why tallow? Dogs are built to digest animal fat efficiently — it's how they've eaten for most of their existence. Beef tallow is a natural source of fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E and K, which support skin, coat and immune function. It's calorie-dense, which means a little goes a long way. That's the whole health case. We're not making medical claims — we're making one ingredient, rendered clean, and letting it do what it does. As always, check with your vet if your dog has specific dietary needs.
